If you are tired of plain vases and boring bowls, we think these new pieces made by Homart will measure up to your style needs. These ceramic beauties, all with a pour lip, add a fun graphic element to your table with their exterior ruler and black and white color scheme. A bouquet of flowers will look quite fun when paired with any of these, and we are sure you will get lots of inquiries about your unique choice of containers. Available at both Foursided in Andersonville, and Twosided, the small bowl and pitcher retails for $10.75 each, and the large pitcher retails for $21.50.

Nourishing Notes

If you are anything like us, when you aren't strolling around town looking at fun cards you are busy stuffing you face with yummy food. If you aren't a foodie yourself, we guarantee you know someone who is, so allow us to make your card purchasing a little easier with these new fun greetings from Nourishing Notes, by Letterform.

We are super excited about carrying this line, partly because we like to support local Chicago companies, but mostly because their cards are so darn cute! Both Twosided and Foursided have an array of card styles, ranging from witty thank you notes: "Shanks. Shank you very much," to funny birthdays: "Oh sheet, I forgot your birthday," and everything in between. Cards are letterpressed with a bold envelope, and have a cooking tip on the back of each greeting. Although these notes are calorie free, giving a card this nice just might inspire your friends to invite you over for a fabulous meal. Bon appétit!

Cool Card Wreaths

We love grapevines, boughs, and bows just as much as the next guy, but at Foursided in Andersonville we like to mix things up a bit. We will pass on the dried flowers, and instead add a few vintage cards and antique portraits, voila: our newly created wreaths! Constructed from a circular metal frame and more flashcards than you can shake a stick at, these wreaths make quite a unique and eye-catching piece for your wall. Antique portrait wreaths are $120, and our flag flashcard wreath (keyhole not included) is $85.

White Out

Maybe the recent snowfall is to blame, but your friends at Foursided can't help but think an all white vignette against a colored background looks quite easy on the eyes. The do-dads in this display won't break the bank (most items pictured are under $30), but you can try this look at home on the cheap with monochromatic things you love. Find a wall, table, or shelf, pick a color to work with, and go to town! In our book, grouping your goodies by color is without a doubt a decorating do!

Great Reflections

This lovely paddle frame mirror is one of our favorite new pieces at Foursided in Andersonville. Distressed wood, and a elongated shape make for a beautiful addition to any wall, and at $170 this mirror fits well with any decor's budget. Here's looking at you kid!

Good Canned Goods

This ain't your grandma's mason jar! We've just acquired a small stock pile of miniature mason jars that are too cute! We've got nothing against jams and pickled beets, but we think it's more fun to fill these minis with tiny goodies and show off our wares. Need a unique way to wrap up a small gift? These 3.5 inch jars are a perfect fit! We love the look of several jars in a row - a great way to add an eye catching element to a shelf or mantle. At $4.25 each, you can afford to snag a few and make grandma proud!

Foursided's Feathered Friends

Mid-century songbirds and hunting decoys have been given new life by the folks at Mullanium, and we think they are pretty amazing! These true-to-life feathered friends have been embellished with everything from gears and keys to rulers and watch faces, and are chock full of personality. Birds start at $270, and are truly awe-inspiring one-of-a-kind works of art. Stop by Foursided in Andersonville to catch a glimpse of them before they fly away.

This Just In: Sailor Jerry Prints

Stop by Twosided in Lakeview to check out our newest framed prints featuring tattoo art by Sailor Jerry. These 14x18 ready-to-hang beauties showcase iconic images from the flash master himself. For $68, you can ink up your walls with eagles, pin-ups, hearts, and everything in between!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Attached, or single your friends at Foursided and Twosided heart you, and hope you have a great Valentine's Day! We love you more than we love witty cards and framing (almost). xoxo
