Love is in the Cards

Foursided and Twosided are in love again- with a bevy of charming valentines!

Stop by and grab messages of love for those near and dear to you and send your love across the miles, no matter how far away they may be!

We have oodles of amazing new cards this year!

New comers Sapling Press from Pittsburg, PA, have swept us off of our feet with their witty one-liners. We couldn’t choose just one, they’re that good.

I Love You Like… // Sapling Press // $5.50
Mmmm… deliciously deep letter press…
We Go Together Like // Sapling Press // $5.50

Local stationer Ravensgoods is back at it again with their charmingly quaint notebook cards.
They make us want to puke a little. But, only because we love them so.

Notebook Valentines // Ravensgoods // $3.75

We are loving the honesty from Oddball Press along with the amazing ornamental envelopes. Express your love the only true way with violence, gifts, and the occasional dinosaur. Who needs flowers?

Awaiting Gifts & Love Punch // Oddball Press // $5.75
Extinct Love // Oddball Press // $5.75

Love is in the cards from Smock. These bright letter pressed cards have adorable coordinating patterns on the envelopes. It’s true.

Lobster ‘n’ Butter & Beer ‘n’ Lime // Smock. // $4.25

These retro inspired cards from Hello Lucky are the bee’s knees. They make us want to talk in corny puns all day.
Because we choo-choo-choooose too. [Insert picture of train here.]

Retro Inspired Valentines // Hello Lucky // $5.25
S + P // Hello Lucky // $5.25

If subtlety isn’t your cup of tea, we’ve got you covered. This one is sure to do the trick. If they say no the first time, there’s always the inside and the back which ask the same question. Third time’s the charm!

Wanna Do It? // Sapling Press // $5.50

Stop by and check out the rest of our treasures before they’re all gone… they’re moving fast!

Watch for our next post with more Valentines goodies.

Gnome Sweet Gnome

Featuring the NEW and IMPROVED garden gnome from Streamline Inc. If this guy was placed in your front yard, he'd soon be placed in someone's trunk and never to be seen again. So don't do that. Unless it's your private backyard, of course.
Nothing renews an old object like dipping it in a vat of shiny silver paint. Try it with your vintage kitchen blender...and Voilà! ART!
Now available for $42 at Twosided.

Measuring Up

If you are tired of plain vases and boring bowls, we think these new pieces made by Homart will measure up to your style needs. These ceramic beauties, all with a pour lip, add a fun graphic element to your table with their exterior ruler and black and white color scheme. A bouquet of flowers will look quite fun when paired with any of these, and we are sure you will get lots of inquiries about your unique choice of containers. Cool Card Wreaths

We love grapevines, boughs, and bows just as much as the next guy, but at Foursided in Andersonville we like to mix things up a bit. We will pass on the dried flowers, and instead add a few vintage cards and antique portraits, voila: our newly created wreaths! Constructed from a circular metal frame and more flashcards than you can shake a stick at, these wreaths make quite a unique and eye-catching piece for your wall. Antique portrait wreaths are $120, and our flag flashcard wreath (keyhole not included) is $85.

Good Canned Goods

This ain't your grandma's mason jar! We've just acquired a small stock pile of miniature mason jars that are too cute! We've got nothing against jams and pickled beets, but we think it's more fun to fill these minis with tiny goodies and show off our wares. Need a unique way to wrap up a small gift? These 3.5 inch jars are a perfect fit! We love the look of several jars in a row - a great way to add an eye catching element to a shelf or mantle. At $4.25 each, you can afford to snag a few and make grandma proud!

Foursided's Feathered Friends

Mid-century songbirds and hunting decoys have been given new life by the folks at Mullanium, and we think they are pretty amazing! These true-to-life feathered friends have been embellished with everything from gears and keys to rulers and watch faces, and are chock full of personality. Birds start at $270, and are truly awe-inspiring one-of-a-kind works of art. Stop by Foursided in Andersonville to catch a glimpse of them before they fly away.

Keyed Up

Keys these days are far from artful, which is why your friends at Foursided pine for delicate skeleton keys and decorative keyholes from yesteryear. Today's deadbolts just aren't doing it for us, which is why we love these modern key wares with a nod to the past. The wooden laser cut skeleton keys, $2.99 each, are made from images of antique keys but are a dead ringer for the real thing. If a artful element is more up your alley, you will enjoy these wall panels inspired by antique keyholes for $18 each. Unlock these goodies and more at our Andersonville location!

Cardboard Safari

Find taxidermy creepy, but love a good ol' animal bust? If you have trepidations about handling a gun, no worries, the only hazard of bringing these animals into your home is the potential for a paper cut. Available in white, and natural, styles, Twosided and Foursided both have a large selection of fun goods by Cardboard Safari, in a multitude of sizes. Ranging from $14 to $54, snag an animal to fit your budget, and your wall space - without having to spend a night roughing it in the wilderness.

Lookin' for the Loo

Check out these bold, graphic restroom signs! Never before used, they are just waiting to be affixed to a door or wall in your abode. We think they are quirky and fun, and would make cool art in addition to denoting where you can go powder your nose. Think about using men & women signs for closets, children's rooms, or any other nook you want to designate his & hers. Men $18, women $18, black restroom $10, and cream and blue restroom $13.
